We went to the Dr’s yesterday to have a new cast, and Travis requested that I bring the camera for photos. Uh huh. I love that man. So here it is, cast off for a few moments, while they took Xrays to check on that pin coming out the side of his wrist. It’s going through the top of both bones, helping to stabilize the dislocation. It’s backed out a little bit, and the Dr. didn’t want to leave it there if it had come out too far. He says it’s fine.
Pretty isn’t it!?! I told the Dr that I thought (because Travis could feel that it was sticking out further) that maybe the backing out was partly from the swelling going down, and then, because of the movement FROM the swelling going down, it had had room to back out a little… the Dr. told Travis, that I have very good medical common sense. hee hee… See dad? I DID listen to you growing up… (actually, what the Dr. said, is that so far, every time I’ve asked if my thoughts on what’s going on are right, they have been.) Bwahahahahahahah
This is a photo of the X rays BEFORE they did anything to fix it.
This is the way it looks NOW.
Nasty. And that’s a direct quote from the Dr.
