Had a mommy flash today… I get them everyonce in a while.
Usually, they mean that I have heard one of my not so nice things come out of one of my
I thought to myself
the boys are expected to keep their tempers in check when something doen’t go their way.
“MAAAAAACSSSSSS! NO NO NO NO NO! I TOLD YOU NO! DON’T POUR YOUR SIPPY CUP ON THE FLOOR! YUCKY! THAT’S GROSS! I DON’T LIKE CLEANING YOUR STICKY MESS! blah blah blah blah blah ……..”
All at the top of my lungs.
I wonder why Ian FREAKS OUT when the baby gets into one of his things.
I wonder why Josh falls apart when his toy breaks.
I wonder why Macs won’t take just a minute for a minute.
It’s because of me.
and it’s the spootiest thing in the world.
I HATE it.
I go for ages without a blow out, and then
K A B L O O E Y
all over everybody.
I’m going to change that.
We’ve been doing SO GOOD with our “new” routine now that we are in the new house. I’m going to throw in an extra challenge to myself.
I can so totally say the same things I want to scream without the scream. I NEED TO DO IT!
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I go around yelling all day long, but there of times it feels that way, and I’m willing to bet money that the kids would change if I gave them more
versions of my displeasure. I mean, I was a toddler teacher for two years! I could wrangle 5-10 toddlers with the patience of a SAINT, and I can’t do it regularly for my own THREE?
You wait and see.
MOMMY FLASH!!!! I can be the mommy AND NOT LOSE IT!
